A vegan diet is based on plants (such as vegetables, grains, nuts and fruits) and foods made from plants. Vegans avoid all foods of animal origin. They do not eat foods that come from animals, including dairy products and eggs.

Vegan desserts do not contain milk nor dairy products (yogurt, butter, cream, cheese, milk chocolate…), eggs, honey and animal gelatin. Vegan sweets are made by using plant-based alternatives such as agar agar, carrageenan and Vega gel, as well as fruit, sugars and syrups.
